Orange Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 6 garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
- 2 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 head broccoli
- Sesame seeds
- Rice
Instructions
- 1.Create marinade by combining baking soda, salt, 2 tbsp orange juice, 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, pepper, 1 tbsp corn starch, 2 garlic cloves, and 1 tsp ginger in a bowl. Marinate the chicken for a few hours.
- 2.In a different bowl, combine 1/3 cup orange juice, 1 tbsp soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic sauce, 1/2 tbsp corn starch, orange zest, 4 garlic cloves, 1 tsp ginger, chili flakes, brown sugar, and salt to taste.
- 3.Heat the oil in a large pan and cook the chicken until no longer pink. Add the sauce and simmer until thick, about 5 minutes.
- 4.Steam the broccoli and add to the chicken. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds over everything and serve over rice.
