Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 6 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 5 tablespoon parmesan, shredded
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon parsley
Instructions
- 1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- 2.Combine turkey, mozzarella, egg, Italian seasoning, onion powder, 2 garlic cloves, crushed red peppers, 1 tbsp parmesan, and some salt & pepper in a bowl. Form meatballs.
- 3.Heat a cast iron skillet on high. Once hot, sear meatballs on both sides (1-2 minutes per side).
- 4.Put seared meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
- 5.While baking, create the butter sauce. Melt butter over low heat, then add in the lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, sage, pepper, hot sauce, parsley, and remaining 4 cloves of garlic.
- 6.After 15 minutes, take meatballs out from the oven. Drizzle the butter sauce over them and top with parmesan. Bake for another 5 minutes to let the cheese melt.
