  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 6 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 5 tablespoon parmesan, shredded
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  1. 1.Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. 2.Combine turkey, mozzarella, egg, Italian seasoning, onion powder, 2 garlic cloves, crushed red peppers, 1 tbsp parmesan, and some salt & pepper in a bowl. Form meatballs.
  3. 3.Heat a cast iron skillet on high. Once hot, sear meatballs on both sides (1-2 minutes per side).
  4. 4.Put seared meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
  5. 5.While baking, create the butter sauce. Melt butter over low heat, then add in the lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, sage, pepper, hot sauce, parsley, and remaining 4 cloves of garlic.
  6. 6.After 15 minutes, take meatballs out from the oven. Drizzle the butter sauce over them and top with parmesan. Bake for another 5 minutes to let the cheese melt.
