Turkey Potato Skillet

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 1 pound potatoes, dice small
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 8 ounce tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- 1.Heat a large skillet on medium high. Once hot, add turkey and cook through. Stir in 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp chili powder, and 1/2 tsp oregano. Remove from skillet.
- 2.Add oil to skillet and heat on medium high. Once hot, add the potatoes, onion, and bell pepper. Cook for 5-10 minutes, until potatoes are browned.
- 3.Reduce heat to medium. Add turkey, tomato sauce, water, garlic, and remaining herbs to the skillet. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
